Theatre by the Bay has signed Adrianna on for their 2010 summer season! She will be "Widow" and as cast in their production of Taming of the Shrew up in August with the preview on Adrianna's birthday: August 5th! Adrianna has been cast in The Banana Festival's Fortress of Solitude where she will be a superheroine named Force Girl. Will she give up her secret identity? Will she chose her "normal life" to keep her husband? Find out April 16, 17, 23 and 24th 2010 at the Imperial Pub in Toronto at 8 pm and 10:30 pm. Can she leave you a message? Yes, Adri is answering phones and filing up a storm at Classical Theatre Project for their early 2010 season as an Arts Administration Intern. Looking to learn a few things about how productions stay afloat in our economy Adrianna is now a new member of CTP's Production Team. Adrianna is Kelley in the book trailer for Leslie Livingston's Darklight the sequel to the smash hit Wonderous Strange which premiered January 14th at the official book launch in Toronto. Ever wanted to try circus arts? Well now you can for only $5 drop-in fee! Adrianna is hosting a new drop-in group called "Cirque for Jerks" - all levels welcome to drop by and try a new apparatus: hoop, silks, trapeze and even yoga for those who are not up in the rigging. Thea Britton, just back from India with a new husband and certificate to teach yoga, will lead the group to align and strengthen. A perfect combination for a circus routine! She played "Hermia" in Hart House's A Midsummer Night's Dream winter 2009. Well, our favourite red head goes to The Canadian Stage Company's GYM - she recently became a member which bring together up and coming artists in the GTA to "workout" together. This could mean readings, scene studies, panel discussions... in other words Adrianna is very happy to be a new Canstage GYM Member! She has also met up with fellow GYM Members to discuss a self-produced play idea that should pop up in 2010... Keep your ear to the ground! Adrianna is teaching puppetry to volunteers with The Concerned Kids charity group. Bringing Bunraku to life to spread the word about anti-drug, stop bullying and more fantastic children's plays to the GTA. Contact Adrianna if you too want to be a volunteer puppeteer! You heard right: Adrianna is also working on an adaptation for her favourite Shakespearean heroine - Ophelia. A teen novel is inspiring her adaptation to look into the lives of the women who do not get their due onstage... She seems to be always looking for the best venue for her Pirate Mackers - a Bony Pate's version of Shakespeare's Macbeth - in the GTA.
