Adrianna is a Historical Interpreter for the City of Toronto since 2007. Her love for theatre has led to many theatre-in-education projects through her museum houses: Gibson House, Colborne Lodge, Montgomery's Inn, Zion School House and the ROM. She is currently part of program development at Gibson House and Montgomery's Inn and at all sites is one of the few who participates in program delivery. Adrianna also leads historical walks, talks and tours at all her locations. Due to the ongoing interest in this young performers ability to educate and entertain The Advocate asked her to write an article on her endeavors. It was so real and she took you back to this time period." -Joyce Dennie, Pratties & Point Attendee 2009 Adrianna has written and performed a follow up to her one-woman "Pratties & Point" with a historical look at what the woman of Victorian Toronto had to go through when civil war broke out on Yonge Street in the 1837 Upper Canada Rebellion. Adrianna wrote andacted her "Rebellious Women: Teaspoons Raised" to an over-sold out run with the Storytelling Festival of Toronto in April 2011. In November 2011 Adrianna moved into the Zion Schoohouse as she was inspired to tell the stories of all the Schoolmistresses of the 1900's. Taken from diaries and letters her play deals with the hardships of being a woman surrounded by the community she serves as well as wars, depressions, and love affairs. Joining her team is Maggie Newell, Liam Hanebury and Sarah Brose as the cast of "The Secret Life of a Schoolmistress" which sold out both runs and even made the Toronto Life's Top 6 Things to do in Toronto !
